User journeys and composite suites

Create a workflow across pages or group reviewed suites for one execution.

A user journey exercises a sequence of pages. A composite suite organizes existing tests into a larger check. Choose the approach that matches what you need to verify.

Generate a journey across pages

  1. Complete a scan that reaches the pages in your workflow.
  2. Open Tests and choose User Flow.
  3. Name and describe the desired outcome.
  4. Select at least two discovered pages in the intended sequence.
  5. Generate the flow and review its cases, inputs, and expected outcomes.
  6. Run it against the same environment and role.

Describe a business outcome, such as creating an order and seeing it in account history. Simply visiting several pages does not verify that data moved between them.

Group existing suites

Use Merge suites from the Tests actions where available. Give the composite a name, select at least two suites, and create it. Review the included items and their order before running the composite.

Grouping does not repair a case's credentials, data assumptions, or selectors. Check each child suite first. For workflows that depend on state from an earlier test, inspect the execution and session behavior before scheduling the combined suite.

Maintain the group

Revisit the composite when a child suite changes or is regenerated. Disable or replace outdated cases deliberately and run the affected group again.

For a workflow involving different roles or native apps, use Cross-role and web and mobile tests.
