TroubleshootingScan or test not running

Scan or test not running

Diagnose missing work, stalled progress, empty suites, and execution failures.

First identify whether the problem is a scan that explores the app or a run that executes existing tests.

Nothing started

Check the error shown when you submitted the action. Confirm testing permission, target URL, selected app build, and required login fields. Review Settings → Billing & plan → Plan & usage for feature access and quotas.

For API requests, read the body: a crawl can fail to start with HTTP 200 and status: "crawl_failed".

Work is queued

Open Activity and the project's Runs view. A queued job is not a completed test. Real-device scans can wait for a free device.

Avoid submitting repeated copies while an earlier job is still active.

The scan found only a login page

Open App access, verify the test account, and check the website login. For expired SSO or MFA sessions, refresh imported cookies. See Login troubleshooting.

No generated tests appear

Confirm that you selected the intended scan and that test generation has finished. Check whether the scanner reached useful pages or only an error, login screen, or repeated page template.

Correct access or discovery before rerunning a broad scan.

A local scan stopped

Check that the app and tunnel or local executor are still running. Confirm the target port and connectivity from the executor machine.

A run failed

Open the failed case and its first failing step. Check the target environment, data, account role, and available screenshot or error. A failed assertion can be an app defect or an expectation that needs updating.

If the issue persists, contact support with the run or scan ID.
